Late night study session. It’s approximately 75º now (I’m from a tropical island, anything below 80º is cold…hah) Blessings to all of you that are struggling with your studies.
This is the angel that came into our lives 11 years ago. We have always been pet lovers, so we decided to go to the place where pets desperately were waiting for an owner: the shelter. It broke our hearts to see so many dogs and cats, full of life, waiting to be taken away into a family that loved them. If only I could take them all. If only they could find a loving owner that would fill them with love and care. Why are there so many pets being put down and so many people buying them? Are they any different from store both animals? NO! Then why aren’t people flooding pet shelters and adopting these hopeless and loving creatures? We need to step out of our little world and start paying it forward. Karma works beautifully, and sometimes it’s as simple as driving passed Pet Smart and going to your local shelter. Adopt! Please, adopt. They will thank you and love you forever.

My law school faces:

It’s become impossible for me to exercise or do yoga. I’m spending all of my free time studying. I knew law school would be a challenge, but I never imagined to what degree. I think I will quit my gym membership and just exercise at home, is better than doing neither. Plus! I’m supposedly gaining weight, it must be my screwed up eating hours thanks to long hours at the school’s library. *sigh*
